Tandem Talent is proud to be working with an exciting, people focused retail company who are looking to recruit a new Stock, Systems and Planning Managers based in our clients head office outside of Swindon. 

As the Stock, Systems and Planning Manager you’ll manage and coordinate the day to day activities of the stock, admin and systems teams and their relationships with other teams on site and brand customers, ensuring optimum operational performance is delivered and maintained.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Development and maintenance of headcount plan – working with 3rd party agencies to optimise timely fulfilment

  • Ensuring the timely and efficient resolution of all stock anomalies – reviewing, analysing and reporting as required

  • Identifying procedural non-compliance within the warehouse operations, resolving as necessary

  • Working with the Operations Managers to improve the site efficiencies

  • Perpetual inventory checks – establishing a cycle count schedule and ensuring adherence

  • Managing the planning, execution and reconciliation of the bi-annual stock takes, ensuring continuous improvement in gross and net results

  • Producing detailed reporting to show the departments performance to objectives as well as what actions were involved in any improvements

  • Providing and updating all procedural documentation required in the warehouse

  • WMS Optimisation to ensure operational efficiencies

  • Site operational reporting

 

The candidate:

The ideal candidate will have extensive systems and stock background experience with logistics and warehouse operational knowledge. You will have proven experience of leading and motivating teams and knowledge of stock take procedures and controls. In addition candidates must also have WMS experience
